You can now proxy and cache crates from crates.io and other sources directly through Cloudsmith.
Proxying and caching from upstream repositories makes dependency management for your Rust projects faster, more reliable, and more secure.

- Proxy crates from crates.io: Proxy crates from crates.io and other sources through your Cloudsmith repository. Keep builds secure and consistent by controlling access to all dependencies from a single integration point.
- Improve security by caching packages: Cache crates to guard against upstream outages and improve download performance. Cached crates will also be scanned for vulnerabilities and license compliance, and you’ll gain visibility into usage.
