Cloudsmith Triumphs at Digital DNA Awards

Belfast-headquartered Cloudsmith, a leading cloud-native software supply chain management platform, has secured three prestigious awards at the highly acclaimed Digital DNA Awards.

Sponsored by MCS Group, the Digital DNA Awards celebrates excellence and innovation across the Northern Ireland tech sector, recognizing the achievements of individuals and organisations that are driving digital transformation and shaping the future of technology.

Cloudsmith’s exceptional performance and commitment to innovation were recognized with wins for Business Personality of the Year for its CEO, Glenn Weinstein and for Scale-Up of the Year for the company as a whole.

Reflecting on Cloudsmith’s achievements, Weinstein remarked, "The recognition is a testament to the role Cloudsmith plays as a significant provider of software to the global market, from right here in Northern Ireland. We have a team of dedicated software engineers and supporting staff here in Belfast who are pushing the boundaries of software supply chain management and delivering secure, reliable, and efficient solutions to our clients worldwide.”

Cloudsmith is a former winner of Digital DNA’s Small Tech Company of the Year award, so this year’s accolades reflect Cloudsmith’s growth into the scale-up category. Weinstein added, “We’re seeing increased interest from large enterprises in software supply chain security, and they’re looking to Cloudsmith as a way to manage complexity and increase developer productivity. Cloudsmith’s growth is largely attributable to our ability to provide solutions to this demanding customer segment.”

Cloudsmith's remarkable growth trajectory comes on the heels of a recent $11 million (£8.8 million) Series A2 investment round. The awards underscore the company's rapid expansion and success in scaling its operations while maintaining a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The company will use the funds to scale operations as it serves its global client base, which includes leading companies such as Shopify, PagerDuty, Font Awesome, HP Anyware, and EnterpriseDB.

Cloudsmith, which was founded in Belfast and maintains its headquarters here, was recognized as a runner-up in the Small Tech Company of the Year category, highlighting its outstanding contributions to the Northern Ireland tech ecosystem.

“Northern Ireland is well on its way to becoming a world-leading technology and cyber security hub. We’re delighted to be a part of such a thriving digital ecosystem,” Weinstein said.
