We believe that good documentation is an essential component of a great product. Our documentation helps new developers get started with Cloudsmith, and enables customers to get the most value from our platform. It is now the best guide to using Cloudsmith - Our website and web app now point to [docs.cloudsmith.com](https://docs.cloudsmith.com) - The old documentation site will remain available [until we sunset our legacy web app](https://cloudsmith.com/changelog/sunsetting-our-legacy-web-app-interface), at which point old docs will redirect to new versions on [docs.cloudsmith.com](https://docs.cloudsmith.com). You will not have to update bookmarks - We will continue to make updates to our old documentation website, [help.cloudsmith.io](https://help.cloudsmith.io), during this transition period - We are migrating knowledge base content from our [support portal](https://support.cloudsmith.com/), and moving it to [docs.cloudsmith.com](https://docs.cloudsmith.com/) ### Help Improve our Documentation Just as we believe in the [power of open source software](/blog/of-course-we-embrace-open-source), we believe in collective ownership of documentation. That’s why we’ve housed the source text for our docs in [a public repository on GitHub](https://github.com/cloudsmith-io/cloudsmith-docs), which is editable by our customers, partners, and developers.
